Tirzepatide (dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist)
Tirzepatide is a synthetic 39-amino-acid peptide engineered from the native GIP sequence with structural modifications conferring agonism at both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. A C20 fatty diacid moiety supports albumin binding and extended half-life.
