Tesamorelin (GHRH 1-44 analog)
Also known as TH9507
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of full-length human GHRH(1-44) with a trans-3-hexenoyl group attached at the N-terminus, conferring resistance to DPP-4 cleavage. It is distinguished from sermorelin and Modified GRF (1-29) by sequence length: those are truncated to the first 29 residues, whereas tesamorelin retains the complete 44-residue sequence. It has an established clinical literature, which is uncommon in this catalog.
Research applications
- GHRH receptor binding and activation studies
- Comparative studies against truncated GHRH analogs
- Visceral adipose tissue metabolism research
- IGF-1 axis response profiling
Storage
Store lyophilized at -20°C protected from light. Reconstituted at 2-8°C for up to 30 days.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water down the vial wall. Swirl gently; do not shake.

Tesamorelin questions
- Where can I buy tesamorelin for research?
- Lyra Vital sells tesamorelin as a lyophilized research peptide in 10 mg and 15 mg single vials, shipped from Orlando, Florida. Every lot's Janoshik Analytical certificate is published with its verification key, so the result can be confirmed with the laboratory directly. For research use only; not for human consumption.
- Is research-grade tesamorelin an FDA-approved product?
- No. Tesamorelin is the active ingredient in a prescription drug approved by the FDA, which is manufactured and released under that approval. Research-grade material sold here is a laboratory chemical, not an approved drug product, and is not for human or veterinary use.
- Which certificate covers the vial size I order?
- Both sizes are filled from the same tested lot, and this page names it. The batch code printed on your vial returns its certificate in the lookup at lyravital.com/verify. The laboratory certifies a lot, not a fill weight, so the measured content on a report can differ from the label size.
- How do I check a tesamorelin certificate myself?
- Take the task number and unique key from the certificate and enter them at janoshik.com/verification. The laboratory returns its own copy of the report. Lyra Vital neither issues nor hosts that result, so the check does not depend on us.

How Tesamorelin compares
Side-by-side against the compounds researchers most often weigh it against, with price per milligram, mechanism and the published certificate for each.
AOD-9604 vs Tesamorelin
An hGH fragment selected to exclude growth signaling, against a GHRH analog that deliberately drives the full axis.
CJC-1295 (no DAC) vs Tesamorelin
Truncated GHRH(1-29) against full-length GHRH(1-44). Sequence length is the whole distinction and it is routinely glossed over.
IGF-1 LR3 vs Tesamorelin
Direct IGF-1 receptor agonism versus upstream GHRH stimulation — acting at opposite ends of the same axis.
